What have you been up to?

I'm terrible at this whole blogging thing. We started it so that our friends and family could see what we've been up to, but we've just been having so much fun lately, who has time to blog! We've been:

Getting big

Picking out our outfits

Getting into vaseline and crying when she got caught

Climbing mountains made of hay (and you might notice the next 10 pictures are blurry- someone got vaseline on the lens)

Picking out pumpkins


Making sure we picked the right pumpkin

Spending time together

Looking at important things with our friend

Standing on giant pumpkins

Smiling

Telling stories

Trick or treating

Eating candy

Turning 2!!!

Partying (and yes I realize I forgot the 'h' in boorthday but I didn't notice till after the party was over)

Opening presents

Really excited

Growing up way too fast

And getting even bigger

That's what we've been up to.

I'm having one of those days...

Dustin is on his dream biking day and I know when he comes home tonight he's going to say "Kinsey, how was your day?" and instead of ruining his day by truthfully telling him how my day was- I'll just say "you don't want to know." Today is the kind of day where I wished my mom AND my sister were here. Not one or the other. Both.
Don't get me wrong, I really am fine. Both kids are sleeping so I thought I'd take advantage and vent on the blog. It's really very therapeutic! I'm feeling better already! Trust me- today doesn't even compare to Brita-gate 2004 (Ames you know what I'm talking about!)
So my errands didn't get done, and my laundry is piling up (thanks to Ronin and his 4 outfits before noon), and my house isn't as tidy as I'd like it to be. And so what if I just got out of the shower and brushed my teeth and it's almost 3:00pm. Worse things have happened!
You know- in the past 8 weeks I've: had a headache, a backache, been completely sleep deprived, TRIED to look cute (ie. done hair and makeup) 5 times, SUCCESSFULLY looked cute 3 times, lost some weight but then managed to find it all again (and then some), grown ginormous boobs (I'm sorry- I know this is a family blog- but I'm venting right now, remember) and have NEVER accomplished EVERYTHING I set out to do in one day...but you know what...








They are totally worth it, and I've never been happier!

PS- I blogged a much happier blog last night so don't forget to read it!

It's just not going to happen...

I started this blog yesterday afternoon. The day went on and I still hadn't finished, so we left the computer on all night so I could finish it today. I had already uploaded the pictures, so all that was left to do was write some witty remarks about our everyday lives and the pictures I had posted. Well, it's 12:13 am- and as my title says "It's just not going to happen." And I refuse to keep the computer on again tonight- so enjoy the pictures-and good night!

Well, hello everyone! I have some BIG news...I had a baby...six weeks ago...maybe its time you all got to meet him.
Introducing Ronin Gee Smith-7lbs 2 oz- and just over 20 inches of pure cuteness!

I know what you're all thinking- a 2 month blogging hiatus and all we get is 7 measley pictures. Yep. I'm tired, so I'm going to bed. Hopefully in the next couple days I'll get around to posting pictures from Ronin's second week of life.

Frolicking in the Rose Gardens

Hey Everybody it's time for another Blog post but because of the heat combined with pregnancy Kinsey has passed the Blogging buck onto me Dustin...so bear with me because I'm new to this. A couple of weeks ago our friends Mike and Amber decided to show us the world famous Rose Gardens of Portland, apparently it's the thing to do . Anyways we suckered Amber into bringing along her camera (we really had to twist her arm) and what follows is the result. Thanks again Amber for the pictures. Hope you all enjoy.
