Niney had a birthday!

Ronin had been planning his superhero party for months...MONTHS! He started talking about in January, and he never wavered from his original theme. Remember he just turned 3- so for over ONE SIXTH of his ENTIRE LIFE he had been telling me that he wanted a superhero party with a spiderman cake. Letting him down was not an option.

This was a few days later. He's not so sure if he likes his costume or not. I, for one LOVED it. I couldn't stop laughing at how adorable he looked in it. He was not as amused.

Edenism

My favorite 'Edenism' of the day just happened. I was tucking her in to bed and we were talking about all the fun we had today at the Raymond pool.

Me: Which one is your favorite slide, the red one or the yellow one?
Eden: The red one is my favorite. But the yellow one goes like really fast, like really super fast like...bolt.
Me: Yeah, fast like a lightning bolt!
Eden: No! Fast like you know that guy who runs really fast,  bolt.
Me: Usain Bolt?
Eden : The yellow slide goes as fast as that guy can run! Super fast!

I guess we've been watching a lot of the Olympics around here!

After a 15 month hiatus, we're back baby...and better than ever!

Papa's in Portland!

What kind of person would I be if I didn't post pictures from all the fun visitors we've had lately?! First my Dad came back in March. We had so much fun. We kept him busy going to Multnomah Falls, a Blazers game, Omsi, voodoo (mmm... voodoo), and Clackamall. I know what you're thinking...what's a Clackamall? It's a mall over in Clackamas, but years ago Eden called it Clackamall, and that's just what we call it now :) If you've been around us for any length of time, you may have noticed that we kind of have our own language in these parts...and I love it. I think Eden's favorite part was when Papa told her he'd take us out for dinner. She got to choose what 'dinner store' we went to. She chose Red Robin. We had such a fun night, and a great visit with Papa!

Happy Birthday Baby Six!

On Tuesday Eden let me in on a little secret. She said "Guess what Mom, tomorrow it's Baby Six birthday!" I had no idea. Thanks goodness she told me, otherwise the whole day would have gone by like most any other...but instead this happened!
